At the counter
Swatches
$2.50 each, cut from the roll you would actually receive.
The live site sells swatches as a single product and asks you to type which fabrics you want into the order comments box. Here the swatch tray is attached to every colourway on the site — tap the swatch chip, it goes in the tray, and the tray carries the colour codes with it.
How it works here
- Tap any colour chip anywhere on the site. It goes into the tray with its mill code attached.
- Open the tray and check the list. 2.50 each, so the total is visible before you send.
- Send it. In this build that opens a pre-filled email to the shop with every code listed — in production it becomes one order line.
How the live site does it today. Swatches are sold as a single product and the instruction reads: “please write swatch request in comment section and fill the rest”. Every code has to be typed by hand into a free-text box, and mis-typed codes are the most expensive kind of mistake at a cut counter.
